Are you looking for a job after you have finished your course with us?
The Jobcentre have introduced a great service to help you do this. It's called Universal Jobmatch and helps you search for the jobs you want but also helps employers to find employees by letting them search through CV's that are on the database.
How does it work?
The first thing you need to do is register your details with the Universal Jobmatch website: www.gov.uk/jobs-jobsearch
Once your account is set up and you have said what sort of jobs you are looking for, you can either search for a job or start to build your CV and let an employer find you. If you are searching for a job then you can use the search boxes at the top of each page. If you would like an employer to find you then you can fill in the build your CV form which asks questions in a step by step way. After you have done this you can upload it to the same website. Employers can then look at your CV and see if you have the skills they need. If you have then they can contact you using the contact details you give.
